About Organic Gulkand
Gulkand is a sun-cooked dish made of Damask rose petals. It originated from Indo-persian culture. Gulkand has cooling effects and helps in reducing excessive body heat. ‘Gul’ means flower and ‘Kand’ means sweet, so Gulkand translates to sweet preserve of flowers.
It was a symbol of royalty and aristocracy. In Ayurvedic texts, Gulkand is tracked as ‘Rasayana’ which is sanskrit for ‘tonic’, which helps in relieving heat related issues.
