Certified Organic and Lab Tested
Our cooking oils are sourced from certified organic farms to ensure the highest purity from the start. Because pesticide residues can concentrate in the oil fraction during extraction, organic sourcing is critical for oilseeds. Our oil is lab tested for over 250 pesticide residues to guarantee a clean, pesticide free cooking oil that is safe for your daily meals.
Traditional Cold Pressed Method
Most commercial oils sold in India are refined using chemical solvents, bleaching and deodorisation, which strips them of their natural nutrients. We use traditional cold pressing and wood pressing. This mechanical process extracts oil at low temperatures without any chemical solvents, preserving natural fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamins. The distinct aroma and deep colour of our oils are signs of genuine, unprocessed quality. For a full explanation of what refining does to oil and why cold pressing produces a nutritionally superior product, read our article on cold-pressed vs refined oils.
Our Cooking Oil Collection
We offer a range of functional, unfiltered oils to suit every culinary need:
- Yellow Mustard Oil: The backbone of North Indian cooking, valued for its characteristic pungency and richness.
- Black Mustard Oil: A more pungent variety, traditionally preferred for pickling and authentic Bengali preparations.
- Groundnut Oil: Offers a high smoke point and mild peanut flavour, making it suitable for everyday frying and sauteing.
- Sesame Oil: Deeply aromatic and nutty, used across South Indian cooking and traditional sweets.
- Extra Virgin Coconut Oil: Cold pressed from fresh coconuts to retain its full tropical aroma for cooking, baking and skin care.
- Sunflower Oil: A versatile, lighter option for everyday use that remains stable under heat.
The Difference in Flavour and Aroma
The flavour of cold pressed oil is the authentic flavour of the seed. Refined oils lose their character through industrial deodorisation, but our oils retain their natural identity. The sharp pungency of mustard oil, the nuttiness of sesame oil and the coconut aroma of virgin coconut oil are evidence that the oil has not been processed away from its natural state. Daily Usage and Lifestyle
Switching to wood pressed oil is a simple way to improve the nutritional quality of your diet. Usage: Use Yellow Mustard oil for traditional tadkas to enhance flavour and digestion. Groundnut oil is perfect for deep or shallow frying due to its stability at high heat. Since these oils are nutrient dense, you often need a smaller quantity compared to refined oils to achieve the same results.
